Been Busy
December 8, 2008 by claudellephotographyStill have lots of photos to show off, but due to being so busy with work I have had no time to make any post. The last month and a half has been a busy time for me. The end of November I did a whole graduation weekend. It was an exciting experience and I really enjoyed every minute of my time capturing the students or should I say graduates. I’m busy finishing off the last bits of their package and then will get busy posting pictures that I took in September already. Well it is back to working.
Helderberg High School Matric Banquet
October 6, 2008 by claudellephotographyWhat a day, it rained all morning and afternoon, I was so sure the rain was never gonna stop. By 3pm the rain had stopped, I managed to do Lynn’s portrait shoot without any hassles of rain at all. Then on our way to the banquet, it began to drizzle, but when we got there it had stopped. By the time the students were arriving the rain had stayed away, until we were all inside then you could hear the raindrops on the roof or should I say shower. It was a lovely evening and all the students looked stunning. Wish I could put all the pictures up, but here is a few for you to enjoy.
Lynn’s Matric Banquet
October 6, 2008 by claudellephotographyHeritage Day – 24 September
October 2, 2008 by claudellephotographyWell last week saw me with a lot of shoots, starting with a wedding ending with a christmas shoot. I had to get the heritage pictures out, so worked on that first, here are a few from that day. First they had the flag parade which was from different contries, though I only put a few here. Then they had speakers, the drama class did a skit and then there was 3 dances from 3 different cultures. It ended with a food stall where students sold food from their country. What you see here is potato bread and Indian beans curry and sweet potatoes.

When I saw it, I though ooh yummy, then was told it was potato bread, mmm not a potato fan, so decided not to try it

Though not a beans fan either, I did try the beans curry with roti and oh my it was divine, delicious. I certainally would eat that again.

I especially love the way the ladies dress, not too sure of the culture here, but just love the hair
Not all the pictures, but just a few to give an idea of how much fun cultural day was, well it was fun for me as always I was able to capture the story of this event.
Thanks for looking,
Claudelle
